At a young age Aaron learned about analog audio watching his father splice tape for his reel-to-reel machine. Since then he has been on a quest for great sound. He grew up analog, but went digital at recording school when he learned Pro Tools. As a bass player he speaks the language of music along with his technical knowledge. In 2010 Aaron began teaching Sound Studio Design and Recording Studio Electronics at NVCC as part of the Music and Sound Recording Technologies program. Even with all his technical knowledge, Aaron still has people skills and is easy to work with. Equally at home behind the studio glass as at the live mixing desk, Aaron enjoys the diversity of projects being a freelance engineer allows. One day may be teaching, the next recording, and the next designing a sound system. Along with recording, live sound, system design, and teaching; Aaron and his wife enjoy camping with their four children.
